The Gearhart Ocean Inn is a small, meticulously restored, old-fashioned motel, built by two brothers from an original Gearhart pioneer family. It has served coastal travelers since 1941. Guests tell us it reminds them of the light and airy Cape Cod properties of New England.

The cozy living area has a pair of comfortable sofas with hassocks or wide upholstered easy chairs along with TV/DVD players & stereos. The Suites have a small dining area and full, well stocked kitchens. The Studios have a bistro table & chairs & efficiency kitchens with coffee makers, microwaves and refrigerators. We offer Torrefazione Italia coffee and a selection of herbal teas.

We have wonderful beds…soft, white terrycloth robes…& locally made salt water taffy!

The bathrooms offer rain head showers and Italian Carrara marble. We have hairdryers, magnifying make-up mirrors & plush towels. Beach towels, books, magazines and over 100 complimentary classic & new release DVD’s available for all of our guests.
