Area Activities - Cannon Beach

Cannon Beach is one of the most unique small towns on the West Coast. As a result of very enlightened land-use planning and zoning, most of the commercial trapping of modern life have been avoided. There are no traffic lights, neon, gaudy business signs, fast food franchises or unrestricted development. The downtown retail area is compact and user-friendly. There are gardens, sitting places, parks, and a free public shuttle if you don’t want to walk or drive. Cannon Beach is 10 miles South of Gearhart Ocean Inn.
